Kerry Irish counties cross stitch is a modern cross stitch containing some of Kerry’s finest landmarks.  Steeped in history and culture, Kerry is a county on Ireland’s southwest Atlantic coast.

The county of Kerry (Ciarraí  in Gaelic) has been known as The Kingdom since the first century.

The Kingdom

There are only two kingdoms, the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Kerry.  A truly magical county of windswept beaches, glacial lakes and rugged mountains. It’s spectacular scenery and well as bustling towns and villages full of colour, character and marvellous fresh food.  Kerry was our childhood holiday destination, and it never failed to delight!

Fungie the Dingle Dolphin

Fungie the Dingle Dolphin has been delighting tourists for over 30 year. This male common bottlenose dolphin has lived in close contact with humans in Dingle since the early 1980’s.

In 2019 he officially became the longest known recorded solitary dolphin in the world and holds a Guinness world record.  Who knew there was such a category!

Ring of Kerry

Part of the Wild Atlantic Way, the spectacular unspoilt beauty of the Ring of Kerry has been attracting tourists for hundreds of years.

The Ring of Kerry is a 111 mile long ring road that follows the natural coastal contours of Kerry’s Iveragh Peninsula. Providing  many incredible places to explore along the spectacular route, including the amazing Skellig Michael, the filming location for the 2015 and 2017 Star Wars movies.

Rose of Tralee International Festival

The festival markets itself as a celebration of the “aspirations, ambitions, intellect, social responsibility and Irish heritage” of modern young women.  A truly Irish phenomenon!
